I apologize for the excessive amount of sunlight and brightness in these photos. It’s always so darn sunny here. #floridaproblems
Remember the chocolate chip cookie granola I made a few weeks ago?
And remember those simple peanut butter cookies from last week?
Yeah… I combined the two.
I present to you, peanut butter cookie granola!
This is product #2 in my cookie granola line. Get your holiday orders in now!
I can’t decide which I prefer — the peanut butter or chocolate chip cookie granola. And now that I typed that, I desperately want to make a batch of both and combine them — mix ‘n match cookie granola!
I used my Planters NUTrition peanut butter for this batch, but I’m sure any type/flavor would work great.
You can guarantee I will be trying other varieties!
Peanut butter cookies in granola form. Use your favorite peanut butter — with all of the peanut butter options these days, the varieties of this granola are endless! Makes about 4 cups Prep time: 20 minutes Cook time: 30 minutes Heat the oven to 325 degrees F. Line a 13×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil. In a medium mixing bowl, stir the cookie dough and oats until mixed well. Crumble the mixture onto the prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until the granola is light golden brown. Allow the granola to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container for storage (or dig right in!).

Great idea, Liz! I often have plenty of unbaked (frozen) cookie dough balls just waiting to be baked off for when the moment strikes – this is a great way to use some!
you know i love cookie flavored granola. or any granola for that matter! What a perfect combo – love using the dough for TWO recipes Liz! I need to do that lol
Combining cookies and granola is genius!!!
I like to think it’s quite genius too. I mean, forget scientists and doctors, creative bakers are obviously the smartest people in the world.
how easy is this?? wow! can’t wait to try it…could be dangerous though!
