CHOatmeal Raisin Cookies

August 6, 2012 · 15 comments

Hello, hello!  I feel like it’s been forever since I last shared a recipe here, but I suppose that’s what two weeks across the pond in Europe will do.  Speaking of, over the next couple weeks I’ll have to share a bunch of the places we visited here on the blog.  I definitely have some “bucket list” worthy spots to share!  But I’ll save that for another day.  Today, its cookie time!

As soon as I was back in the states late last week, all I wanted to do was bake cookies.  Well, actually, all I wanted to do at first was take a 24-hour nap — did I mention I had a 10-hour flight delay leaving London, after 2 hours of sleep the night before?  Yeah… anyway, once I got myself out of sleep debt, I grabbed a cup of Chobani and got to work on a new cookie recipe.

I’ve been getting a lot of requests over the past month for oatmeal raisin cookies.  I’m not sure how I didn’t already have a recipe for them on the blog, since they’re definitely one of my personal favorite cookies.  Nevertheless, as the requests poured in I knew it was oatmeal CHOatmeal raisin time. :)

I’d say these were well worth the wait.  They’re definitely my new go-to recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies… although next time, I may need to sneak a few chocolate chips in. :)

Enjoy!

hope you enjoyed Europe! I loved living vicariously through you via Instagram. :) Chobani, my one and true love! Oatmeal raisin cookies are a close second, must try the two together Liz :)

I feel like I should just have a default comment for all your posts, something along the lines of “HOLY COW, these look delicious. You are awesome for finding ways to use Chobani in recipes like this.” Seems pretty accurate, haha.
