I don’t know about you, but when I’m walking through the candy aisle at the store — please tell me you always walk through this aisle of happiness — my eyes are always peeled for a bag of candy I haven’t seen before. You know, the bags that say “New!” or “Limited Edition!”
And of course, whenever I find said bags of candy, I immediately put them in my shopping basket and begin brainstorming ways I can incorporate them into a fun baking project.
I found these Raspberry Dark Chocolate M&Ms back in March and somehow, they didn’t manage to make their way into a batch of cookies until just last week! In my defense, Easter candy was distracting me. But anyway…
These may not be the prettiest cookies on Earth, but what they lack in looks they make up for in taste. The peanut butter cookie dough uses only peanut butter, raspberry Greek yogurt, sugar, and an egg… which means you get a dense, fudge-like peanut butter cookie with just a hint of raspberry flavor. Stir in the raspberry M&Ms and you’ve got one delicious peanut butter cookie.
Simple raspberry-flavored peanut butter cookies with Raspberry Dark Chocolate M&Ms. If you can’t find the limited edition M&Ms, you can substitute your favorite flavor. Makes about 2 dozen cookies Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 15 minutes Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, beat the peanut butter, yogurt, sugar and egg until smooth. Stir in the M&Ms. Drop the cookie dough by rounded tablespoon onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool 10 minutes before removing from cookie sheets.

This is brilliant because the M&Ms are fruity, so mixing them with peanut butter is like a peanut butter and jelly cookie. With chocolate, too.
I still think the premium mint M&Ms are even better. Those would go well in chocolate cookies.
Yes, they tasted like a peanut butter & jelly w/ chocolate! My decision to use them with peanut butter was somewhat spontaneous, but definitely glad I did. I need to look for the mint m&m’s – I’ve had the Christmas version but not the premium.
oooh i saw this bag the other day at CVS and it was so tempting to get! i might have to do it! yours looks great
Thanks Julie! You should go back and get them, they’re delicious, and they’re he bigger sized M&M like the peanut butter ones.
Ive seen the Raspberry Dark Chocolate M&Ms but I havent bought any and yes, I always get excited by the “special edition” and new candies out. I’m going to Target later today. Lord help me
Hope you made it through Target without spending your life savings… that place is a trap!
I say “Yes” to anything M&M!
Mmm, me too – there isn’t an M&M flavor I don’t enjoy!
these look so good. Full of PB and no flour. Yes, please! I have not seen these M&Ms but I am going to have to go on a search soon.
I found them at WalMart and I believe they have them at Target too. They’re definitely worth looking for!
I saw those M&M’s and was wondering if they were any good. I’m a huge fan of the mint ones and the coconut, but haven’t ried any of the fruity ones. Cookies is a great place for them! I bet they’d be great in brownies with Raspberry jam too!
Now I really wish I had another bag of the M&Ms because brownies with raspberry jam sounds delicious!
I love splurging on limited edition m&m’s too! I haven’t seen these raspberry ones yet…I kind of hope they’re still out there because I love them paired with peanut butter in these cookies!
Liz – i love playing around with the different m&m flavors. These cookies sound delicious. And another cookie recipe using greek yogurt! I seriously have got to try that.
I know – M&M’s are so fun because they’re always coming out with new flavors!
Lovely cookies! i love your cupcakes, too!
DARK CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY MnMs????????
Yes! I found them at WalMart, I’ve heard others have seen them at Target. They’re delicious!
What a great combo! I would have never known that these m&ms existed if I didn’t read your blog!
Thanks, Lauren! Glad you know the M&Ms exist now, you ought to try them if you see them!
My girlfriend sent me a text about the Raspberry M&Ms but I haven’t found them yet in NY State. I’ve found the dark chocolate M&Ms will have to keep looking, or have my girlfriend bring some up from Texas. In the meantime will keep looking and looking forward to making the cookies.
I found them at WalMart, but I haven’t seem them in a few weeks. They’re definitely worth having your girlfriend send some up!
I just saw these at Meijer! They’re still around, and I’m going to make them this week!
Yay! That’s good to know they still make them — I was thinking they might just be seasonal!
Hey, do you happen to know the nutritional information about these cookies (calorie count, etc.)?
Hi Julie, I don’t have the nutritional information but they are fairly healthy.
